The DHPA (Decatur Heritage Parents Association) is committed to supporting programs that enhance the educational, cultural and social experiences for all children within the school. That commitment fosters a sense of excitement and a willingness to try new programs.

A key part of our success is the strong lines of communication between the parents and the DHCA administration and staff. Parents are part of the solution and are encouraged to work as a team with DHCA to support the needs of the school by volunteering in the classroom and through DHPA developed programs.

Morning Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month (August through May). The meetings are held at 8:15 a.m. in the DHCA Conference Room.  The meetings are informal so come as you are, bring your coffee and get involved!

Quarterly Evening Meetings are also held so that working parents can be involved and stay up to date with the new and exciting things that are happening at DHCA.
